As can be seen on this new page in the history section, of the 16 games in which the top-ranked team was upset, Oklahoma was the victim five times. Incredible as it may appear, and it has happened two times, a single team ranked #1 by the BCS has lost twice in one season. Another interesting tidbit is that the #1 teams did not lose primarily because of a lack of offense. Only once did a top-ranked team fail to score less than 10 points in these games.
